Walk in the Park

Description
The Meningitis Trust, is calling for people across Cambridgeshire to take part in their new national fundraising event - Walk In The Park, to help celebrate its 21st anniversary helping families suffering the consequences of this horrific disease.

Walk in the Park is a new national event that will involve hundreds of walkers across the UK raising awareness and money to support the important work of the Meningitis Trust. Hinchingbrooke Country Park is one of 10 hosting an event and we want you to get involved. The walk will be approximately 5.5 miles in length within the grounds of the park.

Come and join us, and encourage a group of colleague s, friends or family to walk with you. The more people we can involve, the more money can be raised to fund the many services that the Meningitis Trust runs both in Cambridgeshire and across the UK.

Michael Auton, Event Organiser says: It is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the countryside with your friends and family and help us make a real difference to the lives of people who have to live with the consequences of meningitis .

The Meningitis Trust's support services continue to improve the lives of the individuals and families affected by the disease. We maintain a high awareness of meningitis to health professionals and the general public. The charity relies almost entirely on public donations to fund its vital work.
