Description
The Thicket is a narrow woodland of ash and field maple. Roughly 500 metres long it runs between Houghton and St Ives and is home to a variety of woodland animals and plants.

There are a number of footpaths, which are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs, that cross the woodland; one of which is part of the Ouse Valley Way which runs from Eaton Socon to Earith.

There are a number of benches upon which you can sit and admire the birds, insects and flowers.
