Description
Newmarket District Scouts and the villages that surround it form a vibrant and active Scouting community with over 500 young members. Some of the activities that they organise include archery, camping, canoeing, challenge trophies, cross country, fencing, football, hill walking, hockey, orienteering, pioneering, shooting, sports, swimming gala and much much more.  

District Groups are :

  • 1st Bottisham (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)
  • 1st Burwell (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)
  • 1st Exning (presently only Beavers)
  • 1st Fordham (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)
  • 1st Isleham (presently only Cubs)
  • 1st Moulton (presently only Cubs)
  • 1st Newmarket (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)
  • 2nd Newmarket (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)
  • 2nd Soham (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)
  • 1st Stetchworth and Dullingham (Beavers and Cubs)
  • 1st Swaffham Prior (presently only Cubs and Scouts)
  • District Explorer Scouts
  • District Explorer Scouts Young Leaders Unit
  • District Scout Fellowship
