Description
At the Royal Gunpowder Mill you can uncover the world of explosives with a range of interactive and static displays that take you back to the 17th century.  This unusual museum traces the evolution of gunpowder technology and reveals its impact on Britain's history.   Tours are also available by tractor-trailer train.

There is a vast range of things to do and see at the Gunpowder Mill.  There is the Mill itself and its history, a 1940's experience, films, wildlife areas to see from boardwalks and trails, woodland, transport exhibits and rockets, WW1 and WW2 displays and much much more.   A truly full day out.

They run a number of special events throughout the year.  See their programme for more details.
