Description
Rockingham Castle was built more than 900 years ago by William the Conqueror as a strong hold and important seat of government.    The castle stands in beautiful grounds with superb views over the Welland Valley.  Rockingham Castle is now the home to the Saunders Watson family.

There are extensive grounds for walking or jogging that provide plenty of areas to play for the kids or even a game of football with mum or dad!

They also hold regular events including kite and viking days.
