Description
Poldark Mine is a unique example of working for alluvial tin, the site of the first recorded tin stamps in the Duchy (1493) and its 18th century tin mine makes Poldark one of Cornwall’s most important heritage sites.

At Poldark Mine & Heritage Complex you can go down and see the atmosphere of this very old mine.  Other Attractions let you mine for diamonds or pan for gold.  Visit the jewellery workshop or throw a pot at the potters wheel.  Make a candle, or try woodturning or make your own souvenir.  Something for all the family at Poldark Mine & Heritage Complex.
