Description
Samuel Pepys bequethed his diaries to Cambridge University and they are now housed, all 3000 volumes, in the Pepys Library for all to see.   The Building itself was also bequeathed by Pepys, although its history remains a mystery.

Among the treasures are many medieval manuscripts, some important early printed books and a naval collection that includes Sir Frances Drake's autographed nautical pocket almanack.
