Description
Visit the 17th century family home of Oliver Cromwell and its famous haunted bedroom.  Oliver Cromwell lived in this house in Ely for approximately 10 years, which has now been carefully restored.  The House now contains Civil War exhibitions and illustrations of everyday life in the 17th century.   It also contains a history of the Fenlands and its transformation from marsh to farmland.

The visit can be interactive as you are encouraged to pick up and touch items, you can feel the weight of the helmets, or touch the home-made soap, pick up the tankards, and try on the clothes.  Delicate items are kept behind ropes.

They have a number of special events throughout the year.

Tours can be arranged around Oliver Cromwell's House if required.
