Description
Old MacDonald's Educational Farm Park is a  farm where visitors could get close to, stroke and feed the animals and birds thus heightening public awareness towards farm animals, poultry, pets and the countryside. .  This educational farm park is set in pasture and woodland covering 17 acres; creating many opportunities to get close to the animals.   There is also a playground for the children as well as otters, red squirrels and owls to see.

There are many activities to do and an indoor and outdoor play area for the children.

They also hold special events during the year.  Springtime Rebirth where you can celebrate the rebirth of the farm with the newborn lambs, piglets, chicks, bunnies and more.

They also arrange children's parties which can include a guided tour of the farm and a 'hands on' session.

Be a Keeper For The Day -  Do you love animals, or know someone who does? Ever wanted to work on a real live Farm? Well here is your opportunity to get a real 'hands on' experience working alongside our experienced animal keepers.   You will join us early before normal opening time, and have the opportunity to help us feed, clean and 'muck out' some of our rare breeds and other exhibits.  Lunch is provided of course, but you will be too excited to eat! The day finishes with a complimentary photo and presentation of a keepers certificate.
