Description
Nene Valley Gliding Club, more easily known as NVGC, is a fairly small glider club with over fifty members that offers visitors gliding lessons.  Located near Cambridge and Peterborough.

Our membership covers a wide spectrum of ages from 12 years to 70 years and experience (pre-solo to Diamond badge holders). The Gliding Club is run by members, for the members. This reflects well the club's motto ab labor venire voluptas, or "Much fun through hard work"

Our gliding club uses two winches to launch the gliders. These are used to launch the gliders to about 1500'. Occasionally we utilise other local aircraft to provide additional aerotow gliding lessons and aviation experiences.


Our Gliding experiences are safe for everyone from 14 to 80 years young. An affordable way to learn to fly in UK gliders and truly be closest to nature. From beginners learning to fly to advanced glider pilots, Nene Valley Gliding Club can cater for all types of gliding. Perfect as a gift for the adventurous!
