Description
Peterborough Milton Golf Club has a fine, well-established par 71 parkland course set in the grounds of the Fitzwilliam Estate, many of the holes being played in full view of Milton Hall.   

There is a ten acre practice ground next to the 1st fairway which coupled with the completion of Lake Temptation across the 1st and down the 18th fairway makes a challenging start to this course. The course has four very individual par 3's with well guarded or two tier greens and the three par 5's require a degree of accuracy to negotiate fairway hazards especially the strategically placed mature trees. Despite Dutch Elm disease when many trees were lost during the 1970s, the ongoing programme of annual forest planting is now showing benefit to the course.
