Description
The Mid-Lent Fair Stamford appears to have been held for over a thousand years, dating back to King Edgar’s days and provided most of the town’s trade and a major source of income. Nowadays it is a huge funfair which fills most of the town centre from bath Row to the High Street.  
There are many traditional rides including big wheels and musical-go-rounds as well as the new more thrilling rides such as the Jump and Smile, 'Oblivion' Afterburners etc.

OPENING TIMES :  It is held on the Monday following Mothering Sunday and runs until the following Saturday.


COSTS :  Whilst there are not any charges to enter the fair you do have to pay for the rides!
