Description
The Manor Leisure Centre Whittlesey has a 3 court sports hall, 2 squash courts, a lifestyle health suite, 25 metre 6 lane swimming pool, teaching pool, 3 outdoor tennis courts and both senior and junior football pitches. They provide an extensive array of lessons and activities after school and during the school holidays.
TERM TIME ACTIVITIES
Saturday 10.00 – 11.55 Madhouse - Enjoy hours of fun doing things you like in our fully supervised madhouse session. Activities are advertised in our monthly programme on the junior activity board. Sessions may include cricket, rounders, uni hoc, team games, art n craft etc. Sessions are suitable for children aged 5 – 11 years.
Friday 18.00 – 19.00 Kids Aloud & Saturday & Sunday 13.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 15.00 Kids Aloud - A supervised junior session in the fitness studio, where you will have the use of the CV equipment (treadmills, bikes, rowers etc). You can work out to your own programme. Sessions are suitable for ages 10 – 15years
Thursday 16.30 - 17.00 Junior Group Cycling - A fun session in the group cycling studio, where you will have a fun workout on a specially designed bike. Motivated by music you are guaranteed a fun all round workout. Sessions are suitable for ages 10 – 15 years.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES - These are some of the activities available. You will need to contact the centre directly to find out the full range of activities and timings.
Under 5's Activities - Crèche, Weenies
5 – 15 Years Activities - Funzone – A multi activity session, which includes Sports, Arts and Crafts, and Bouncy Castle plus, lots more. Funzone operates between 10.00 – 12.00 weekdays throughout school holidays.
10 – 15 Years Activities - Kids Aloud (Junior Fitness Studio Session) operates during Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 15.00 – 16.00.
In addition to the above they also provide Crash Coaching Courses in swimming, badminton, short tennis, tennis, snorkelling, rookie lifesavers,
Pre booking is essential for crash Coaching Courses. It is advisable to pre book to avoid disappointment on activity sessions, due to limited numbers. Specific school holiday programmes are available at least two weeks prior to the holidays.
