Description
Making it! Discovery Centre is an "exciting family attraction" based around design & technology - it's fun, entertaining, engaging and educational - fully hands on galleries to keep you inspired and amazed for hours.

Be amazed at how invention happens and how it succeeds and fails - produce your own designs on modern, light-box drawing boards and 3D Computer Aided Design computers - test materials to destruction - try to run an assembly line and puzzle out the mysteries of bar codes - use a robot to assemble the finished product - put your head into a virtual fizzy drinks factory - star on a newspaper front page and then print it - try to recycle waste and find natural resource.

Explore the interactive, hand-on displyas that will delight, engage and entertain you.  The galleries celebrate the inventiveness of a range of industries including shoe manufacturing, brewing, soft drinks, textiles, printing, engineering and electronics. 
 
A Nottinghamshire Visitor Attraction of the Year winner.  They also arrange birthday parties for 3 to 13 year old.
