Eastern Counties

Cambridgeshire has many Historic Houses with wonderful gardens for you to view.   Take a look at those listed and see the magnificence of the historic house, very often there are tours available and you get an opportunity to experience life as it was before.

To keep the children interested, why not put a list of questions together that they have to answer, or a list of things for them to find.   They don't need to relate to the history of the house, although that would be good, but just simple things like how bedrooms does the house have, or how many pictures are there in the Hall.  This should keep them interested for a while.

If you have recently visited an attraction that you have enjoyed, let us know here at FamiliesinCambridgeshire by completing the Add a New Attraction Form and we will include it on the site.  It doesn't have to be within the County boundaries, but should be no more than an hours travelling time from the edge.
