Description
Carisma is a thriving martial arts club that trains in the city centre of Cambridge.

They specialize in kickboxing, also known as American Kickboxing, not to be confused with Thai Boxing or Savate.  Training is 4 times per week, allowing great flexibility for busy people as most of our members are. We encourage all members to get totally involved with the club's activities, training in our friendly, relaxed but disciplined environment: this helps to leave outside the door the stress caused by work or study problems.

One of the advantages of kickboxing training, compared to other non contact martial arts is the feeling of reality that can be perceived since the first lessons. Every time you strike or block an attack you know whether the technique would in fact have effect in a real situation. Also, the continuous pair training and sparring helps the individual to cope with stress caused by the awkward situation of fighting against somebody: this can be extremely useful when facing a real self defence situation.

Multicombat is a fighting style formed by augmenting Kickboxing with knee and elbow strikes, leg blocks (as from Muai Thai, also known as Thai Boxing), and further sweeping and throwing techniques from Judo.  Multicombat was conceived by Master Davide Bottini as a Style oriented towards street fighting. Multicombat does not have sport competitions and, to ensure that safety requirements are fully respected, is normally suitable only for people with a certain level of knowledge about the various techniques involved.
