The Cambridge Corn Exchange has a rich and interesting history.  The name 'Corn Exchange' has been applied to a number of buildings which highlights the city's desire to support and maintain a place for entertainment and "devoted to very useful objects of popular amusement.   Today the Cambridge Corn Exchange is renowned for its new music and contemporary events programme.
