Description
Bateman's is the jacobean former home of Rudyard Kipling reflecting the author's exotic oriental tastes.   Bateman's has original illustrations for the Jungle Book and Kipling's 1928 Phantom 1 Rolls-Royce.

Walk around the delightful gardens that run down to the River Dudwell and see the working watermill.
